BRIEF OF THE DEPARTMENT
In the academic year 2017-2018, the structural changes were passed throughout MUST, so the teams conducting their training activities in the courses of Software, Thermal Power Plant, Electrical System Automation, Electrical System, and Mining Electrical Equipment Operation, all the professional programs were brought together to “Department of Energy and Information Technology” was established.
Until the end of 2017-2021, senior teacher Bat-Erdene J.(Dr.) worked as the head of the Energy and Information Technology department, and then since 2022, Uyangasaihan B. (Ph.D.) has been working until now.
The field of Energy and Information Technology is conducting full-time and part-time training in 5 majors from 3 programs at the bachelor’s level and 3 majors at the master’s level. We have been preparing and graduating engineers who can make a real contribution to the development of our country and compete at the global level.
The department conducts training activities with 2 professors, 3 senior teachers, 14 teachers, and 4 training masters.
Based on the demand of the market, we develop knowledge, creativity, and skills based on innovation, which meets the requirements of energy, mining, information technology, and business organization workplaces, providing a combination of “training, research, and production”, in local and foreign countries. Our goal is to train internationally recognized engineers who can compete at the highest level.
