BRIEF OF THE DEPARTMENT
As part of the higher education reforms, in the 2014-2015 academic year, when the branches and departments of the constituent schools of SHUTIS were undergone structural changes and were newly organized the “Department of Engineering”. It was established by merging the professorial teams of Metallurgy and Machine Production, and, Management and Information Technology.
The department is conducting full-time and part-time training in 9 majors from 6 programs at the bachelor’s level and 4 majors at the master’s level. We have been preparing and graduating engineers who can make a real contribution to the development of our country and compete at the global level.
The department is headed by Ganzorig Ch. (Ph.D., ass.prof), co- working with 1 leading professor, 8 senior teachers, 6 teachers, and 2 training masters.
Lecturers majoring in management have been instructing some studies of fundamental sciences, and create a favorable environment for each student to acquire the knowledge, skills, technology, and cultural values necessary for creative work, and by conducting master’s course in the “Financial Management ” and “ Mechanical engineering” .
Based on the demand of the market, we develop knowledge, creativity, and skills based on innovation, which meets the requirements of energy, mining, information technology, and business organization workplaces, providing a combination of “training, research, and production”, in local and foreign countries. Our goal is to train internationally recognized engineers who can compete at the highest level.
