Department of Fundamental Science
The mission of the Fundamental Science Department is to create academic excellence in fundamental sciences, the department aims to encourage advanced teaching learning process and quality research at individual, department and institutional level. It also endeavours to build quality-based knowledge and human resource capacity.
The Department of Fundamental Science was founded in 2014 and follows the curriculum of School of Technology in Darkhan-Uul, MUST. It inculcates fundamental knowledge in Mathematics, Physics, English and Humanities courses which is the foundation of Engineering education. In our department the ethos of science and technology prevails, as it is believed that Engineering and Science are, by their very nature, humanistic and socially derived enterprises. The Department has 16 dedicated faculty members.
The leading scientific research fields of the Department of Fundamental Science faculty include online teaching methods, teacher professional development, innovative teaching methods in engineering.
Our department inculcates Natural Science and Humanities Science courses besides English for. undergraduate students.
English language is pervasive and spoken throughout the world. It is the language for all walks of life. A good command and communication in English are essential in the modern world to wield not only respect but in all business transactions. Mathematics, the queen of sciences is the basis for all branches of Science, Engineering and Technology. Any complex ideas can be logically expressed by equations and formulae. Mathematics itself is a language through which difficult problems can be addressed. The study of Physics uncovers the mysteries of nature through the knowledge of properties of matter. Humanities courses also give students the tools they need to communicate complex ideas in writing and speaking to a wide range of academic.
Our department offers master programs in the field of Education research and Education Management.
